The College of Education at female campus conducted an evacuation drills on Tuesday. The alarm bell was heard, and the students were evacuated without any stampede. The evacuation process lasted only one minute.
The security and safety officer had previously developed a comprehensive program on safety procedures, including handing out brochures and publications on safety and explaining how to act in the event of fire incident.
The evacuation plan is part of MU's strategy to ensure the safety of its staff and visitors. The plan aimed to provide practical training for employees and students on how to act in any emergency situation.
