College of Engineering Won 7 Awards

The College of Engineering has won seven scientific prizes in Majmah University Award for Scientific Research and Innovation and the associated exhibition, which was launched under the auspices of the University Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin on Sunday 1/7/1439 at the University City Theater.

The College of Engineering won the first place in the Outstanding College Award, winning the top position as the best College in the University regarding outstanding scientific research and innovation for the achievement of international standards for scientific research and publishing in the finest international academic journals.

In addition, the College represented by the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering won the first place in the distinguished academics contest.

Furthermore, the College won the first place in the scientific research competition represented by Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Kalibi from the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering winning the first place as the best scientific researcher at the University.

Dr. Mohammed Kashif al-Din from the Department of Basic Engineering Sciences obtained the second place in the same competition.

The College also won the first place in the distinguished academic researcher competition, as Dr. Elias Khan of the Department of Basic Engineering Sciences won the first place as the best academic researcher at the University with Dr.Vafar Khan winning second place in the competition.

The graduation project award was given to students Bader Abanmi, Ahmed Al-Ahaidib, Wael Al-Enezi and Abdulaziz Al-Kharif.

The third place in the outstanding graduation projects at the University was supervised by Dr. Mohammad Nadim from Mechanical Engineering Department And industrial.

Dr. Tarek Nabil, Dr. Fathi Khalil, Dr. Al-Mana Al-Barhoumi and Dr. Elias Khan won the College of Engineering Award for funded research projects for the academic year 2016-2017 by publishing scientific journals of a high scientific standard.
