“Discourse Analysis, Translation and Teaching”

The 2nd conference panel, with the theme “Discourse Analysis, Translation and Teaching” was moderated by Dr. Ayed Saleh Al-Rashidi in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Majid Othman Hussein.
A number of papers were presented by Mr. Jilani Khalid from the Department of English in Ghat, Dr. Ali Al-Sa'awi from the Department of English in Hawtat Sudair, Dr. Ihsan Abdul Qader and Dr. Laxmi Laramana.
The presentations addressed the problems of translation, particularly synonyms and phrases in both the source and target languages.
