Message from the Secretary of the College of Education Council

The College of Education Council is formed by a decision of MU Rector and includes the Dean of the College as Chairperson, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research as Secretary, as well as the vice deans and heads of academic departments as members.

The council represents one of the key pillars supporting the college’s academic and administrative work. It operates collaboratively to achieve the college’s vision and mission of preparing distinguished educational professionals. The council exercises its responsibilities within the authority granted under the Universities Affairs Council System, including reviewing appointments and promotions of faculty members and equivalent positions, proposing and updating study plans in coordination with academic departments, supporting scientific research, and addressing student-related matters within its jurisdiction. The council also reviews issues referred to it by the University Council, the Rector, or the Vice Rector in accordance with the applicable regulations.

The council meets regularly to discuss its agenda, and its decisions are made by majority vote before being submitted for approval by the authorized authority, in line with the governing regulations.
