Department of Arabic Language (Females Sections) Celebrates the World Day for Arabic Language at the Faculty of Education in Majmaah

Department of Arabic Language (Females Sections) at the Faculty of Education in Majmaah has celebrated the World Day for Arabic Language, on Thursday dated 26/02/ 1436 H, therefore, the celebration has taken the following title ( The Arabic Character), also this celebration has concentrated on topics affecting the Arabic character and its beauty and creativities, as well as the features and characteristics carried out by it and highlighted the Arabic Language in a dress distinguished it form the other languages all over the world. Thus, this celebration has launched with recitation of verses from Holy Quran, Surat Al Zekhrof, recited by one of the female students , followed by a speech of the Coordinator of the Department, Dr. Azza Abdelmoneim Allam, which, in turn, appreciated the effort of Saudi Arabia in serving Arabic Language, in particular King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center For Arabic Language Service, and pointed also to the position of Arabic Language, and its importance among the languages of the world, and showed in her speech the features and characteristics carried out by the Arabic Language in comparable to other languages, and for those unique features and characteristics the Arabic Language deserved to be the language of Holy Quran. Hence, some female students have positively participated in this celebration with activities of different styles and forms, then a play about the Arab Character and the stages of its development (History and writing) has been displayed. In addition to the important role played by the professors of the department in reviving this celebration with a speech by Dr. Amjaad Abdulfattah Salamah, which had that deep echo and impact through what was reported of the favors of Arabs and their language, as well as the ambush of westerns and orientalists , and their desperate attempts to conceal the identity of the Arabs and their language, which surpassed other languages in everything. The corners of this celebration which were prepared by the Coordinator of the Department, Dr. Azza Abdulmoneim Allam, were the good end for this celebration, therefore, those corners were varied such as the corner of hospitality which was the first one, then a corner for readers who do not plagiarise , and a third one why should I read? and the fourth one was for Arab calligraphy, and the fifth one was a charter to preserve the Arab Language by students and professors and the sixth one was about the Arab scientists and writers and their writings in serving the Arab Language and its sciences . All those corners were finalized by a corner about the common errors, in addition to the vision of the department, its message, and its objectives at the College, and what the department does make of efforts in the service of the language of Holy Quran, which, in turn, were the best conclusion for this celebration.
