About the College

ABOUT THE COLLEGE

The establishment of the College was in compliance with the directives of the government to accommodate the increasing number of high school graduates in various disciplines across the kingdom. The number of high school graduates in this province and neighboring provinces reached 2436 students in the year 1425 AH. Moreover, Majmaah College of Applied Medical Sciences was established in 18/1/428 AH, and was under King Saud University at the time, before it was combined with Majmaah University, which was established by a royal decree in the 3rd of Ramadan 1430AH, corresponding to the 24th of August 2009 AD. And in 30\12\1430 AH corresponding to 17\12\2009 AD, appointing Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin

as Rector of the University.
