Vision

Creativity and innovation in teaching medical devices technology, establishing local and national partnership and contribute to scientific research internationally.

Mission

To prepare competencies in the Biomedical Engineering field through an educational environment supportive of scientific research and community service to cope with the evolution of health care systems and techniques.

Objectives

1. To use principles of bioengineering, basic biomedical sciences, and statistics to solve complex engineering problems and tasks.
2. To acquire learning skills and the ability to apply their bioengineering knowledge to evaluate biomedical technologies or systems.
3. To use the analytical tools to perform fundamental and applied research in biomedical engineering.
4. Able to positively impact on the society to develop ethical, economic and environmental skills to serve the community in a better way.
