Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Al Muhaisen, Vice Dean of Quality and Development and head of Electrical Engineering Department, inaugrated a workshop entitled "The Saudi Digital Library" on Monday, 10/6/1439 at the Engineering Club Hall in the College of Engineering.
The Vice Dean of Quality and Development welcomed the presenter Mr. Pashasha Al-Sahib from the Saudi Digital Library at the College of Engineering, expressing his appreciation to the Library for holding such training sessions.
The lecturer, Mr. Imtiaz Pashasha, spoke about the books, videos, training programs and journals at the Library.
“With more than 310 publications, the Library won the best project award in the Arab World, which is a wonderful achievement for such a new project,” Mr. Imtiaz stated.
The steps of registration in the digital library site and searching the digital library database for academic sources by specialties or by the type of academic sources were demonstrated.
The presenter urged all faculty members and students to register on the website of the Library to make the best use of its advantages.
