A Workshop holds at College of Engineering entitled “The role of admin staff in obtaining academic accreditation”

As part of its preparations to obtain the program academic accreditation from the NCAAA, the Training Unit at the College of Engineering conducted on Tuesday, in coordination with the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, a workshop to qualify the administrative staff for the program academic accreditation.

The workshop was presented by the head of MEU, Dr. Sameh Ahmed, who highlighted the major and effective role of administrative staff in the process of academic accreditation, most importantly are:

  • The role of admin staff in obtaining academic accreditation
  • Know the job tasks
  • The art of dealing with students and faculty members at the college
  • Importance of having accurate data
  • Skills of using MS Excel and Word in writing reports

Dr. Ahmed emphasized to all administrative staff the necessity of being prepared for the visit by the NCAAA which will take place on November 15.
