A Workshop for Preparing Higher College’s Staff to The Visit of Team of The National Academic Accreditation Held in College of Engineering.

As a part of the College of Engineering's preparations for program accreditation from the National Centre for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, the college of engineering vice-deanship for quality and development held a workshop in order to prepare the higher administrative staff members of the college for the national academic accreditation.

The workshop was attended by His Excellency the Dean of the College, the excellences of the vice-dean and the Heads of Departments.

At the outset, his Excellency the dean welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of programmatic academic accreditation for the college and university and the need for all faculty members to be prepared for this visit at all levels.His Excellency the dean indicated that the university administration, represented by His Excellency the Rector of the University and the Vice-rector of the University, show great interest and unlimited support for the College in its pursuit of this academic accreditation, which is the first for the Majmaah University and for the College.His Excellency the dean showed that both the electrical engineering program and the civil engineering program were submitted for program accreditation, which are among the first programs of the university that have passed the initial stages and are in the process of receiving the committee on the final visit on 10/13/2020.

His Excellency the Vice Dean for development and quality presented the most important criteria, information and standards that must be focused on during the visit. He focused also on the new academic accreditation standards issued by the National Centre for Academic Accreditation, the requirements for accreditation, preparation of documents and preparing the infrastructure.
