College of Engineering wins Excellence Awards in the Forum for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research

During the activities of the Forum for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (GSSR), the College of Engineering won a plenty of excellence awards for the College achievements in the fields of innovation and scientific research. The Forum was held on Wednesday 13\7\1437 AH under the presence of the College Dean, Dr. Abdullah Abdulmohsin Al-Abdulkareem, and the College vice-deans as well as a number of faculty members. The Rector and the University Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research honored the College of Engineering and handed to the Dean the Award of Excellence in the Fields of Innovation and Scientific Research for the academic year 1436\1437 AH. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kulaiby, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and the College Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, was handed the Award of the Outstanding Research while Dr. Iskandar Talily, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, won the Award of Outstanding Researcher. Dr. Tariq Al-Bajory, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Tawfeeq Al-Kanhal, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechatronic Systems Engineering, received the Award of Innovation for obtaining a patent from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology on ( a machine for cracking the water and natural gas piping systems). Finally, the College Dean, Dr. Abdullah Abdulmohsin Al-Abdulkareem, and the faculty members expressed their appreciation to the Rector for supporting the innovation and scientific research
