Message from the Head of Department

Welcome to the Department of Chemistry's website. The department began to operate during the academic year 1439/1440 AH to meet the needs of the labor market.

A comprehensive curriculum has been developed to keep pace with the latest advancements in the field of chemistry. This allows the department's graduates to contribute to realizing the Kingdom's Vision and compete in the labor market.

The department has also undertaken a thorough review of the curriculum in collaboration with its counterparts at leading universities, ensuring it meets the best international standards and the National Academic Accreditation Standards (NCAAA).

Furthermore, the department strives to keep up with the rapidly evolving local, regional, and international business environments by qualifying students scientifically and practically for both the public and private sectors to compete in the job market. It also aims to actively participate with community institutions in developing and advancing projects in the field of chemistry, contributing to the Kingdom’s sustainable development.
