Responsibilities of the Postgraduate and Scientific Research Unit

1. Develop a strategy for postgraduate studies and scientific research that aligns with the strategic goals of the college and the university.

2. Prepare and digitize guides that regulate admission, registration, study, and supervision policies for postgraduate programs.

3. Launch high-quality programs in various disciplines to foster innovative scientific and practical contributions.

4. Secure research grants from both public and private sectors to support the participation in conferences and academic forums.

5. Support outstanding students in pursuing postgraduate studies through internal and external scholarships to leading universities.

6. Promote the publication of research in specialized local and international scientific journals, and encourage faculty to publish in top-ranked international journals.

7. Prepare the annual budget for postgraduate studies and scientific research and integrate it into the overall college budget.

8. Develop a comprehensive database containing information on postgraduate faculty, as well as theses and research topics registered at universities within and outside the Kingdom, to facilitate researchers' access.

9. Support distinguished research—both theoretical and applied—and coordinate efforts among researchers in the college, encouraging a focus on solving practical problems faced by the public and private sectors in the region.

10. Create a stimulating research environment that fosters innovation and creativity and contributes to solving challenges faced by both the college and the broader community.

11. Supervise the scholarship programs for teaching assistants and lecturers, and monitor their academic, administrative, and financial status at their respective scholarship institutions.

12. Submit regular reports on the status of postgraduate studies and scientific research within the college.
