Message from the Head of Department

Welcome to the Department of Mathematics

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Mathematics, one of the foundational pillars of our college since its establishment in 1428 AH (2007). 

The department offers a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, as well as a collaborative interdisciplinary program in Applied Statistics and Data Management, developed in partnership with the Department of Computer Science and Information. This program features flexible exit points, including diploma and associate professional diploma options—all aligned with the Saudi Unified Framework for Educational Levels and Specializations.

At the Department of Mathematics, we aim to expand into areas that meet the evolving needs of the job market, such as Financial Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science. We are also exploring the launch of advanced diploma programs in these fields and working towards offering Master's degree pathways in the future.

Our department is proud to be one of the first to receive German academic accreditation (ASIIN). In 2022, we earned conditional program accreditation for the Bachelor's in Mathematics from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), and in 2024, we achieved full program accreditation from the same authority.
