The College of Science conducts a Training Course Titled: Introduction to the Student Portal and Academic Advising

The Vice-Dean's Office for Educational Affairs and Development, represented by the Guidance, Counseling, and Student Rights Unit, in collaboration with the Biology Department, organized a training course titled: “Introduction to the Student Portal and Academic Advising,” delivered by Ms. Mona Al-Fawzan.

The course provided a simplified overview of academic advising and its importance for students. It also highlighted key information students should be aware of upon joining the University, as well as essential considerations adding or dropping courses. The course also highlighted communication channels with academic advisors, the role of the advisor in the advising process, and students’ responsibilities.

Participants were also introduced to how to navigate the academic system portal, with a detailed explanation of the services available, various academic transactions, and the procedures associated with them.
