The College of Science, through its Educational and Development Affairs Unit and in collaboration with the Alumni Affairs and Employment Support Center at the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized a series of intensive career guidance workshops for graduating students. The workshop was carried out in partnership with the Strategic Partner, the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf).

This workshop aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their readiness to enter the workforce with confidence and effectiveness.

The workshops covered highly relevant and practical topics, including “Career Futures: From Anxiety to Planning”, which guided students in transforming uncertainty about their professional paths into structured action plans and clear implementation steps. Other sessions focused on soft skills and communication, providing an intensive program to strengthen effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving—key pillars of professional success. Students received hands-on training on using LinkedIn professionally, helping them to build their personal brand on the world’s largest professional platform and increase their employment opportunities.

These workshops have significantly contributed to developing students’ skills and providing them with practical tools to confidently venture into the job market. The initiative also underscores the importance of partnerships between academic institutions and employment-supporting organizations in bridging the gap between educational outcomes and the needs of the private sector.
