Knowledge Resources Unit conducts a course Science Courses on the TED Platform for Self-Learning

The Knowledge Resources Unit, conducted, in cooperation with the Mathematics Department, a training course for students entitled “Science Courses on the TED Platform for Self-Learning,”. The course was presented by Dr. Sadiqa Othman, a faculty member from the Mathematics Department. 

The TED Education platform is one of the initiatives dedicated to education and youth. It aims to support the best ideas presented by teachers and students around the world. Today, it has become a superior education platform for the quality of what it offers to millions of teachers and students every week. 

The initiative has succeeded in presenting a set of lessons in a creative way that combined the efforts of experts such as speakers at TED conferences, along with the efforts of teachers and designers to create educational lessons using animations along with questions and resources. TED lectures in Arabic will give the Arab audience around the world a new opportunity to express their opinion, convey their voices, and reach a global audience interested in issues that concern the Arab world.
