The Student Activities Committee at the Department of Computer Sciences and Information held a scientific debate entitled: "Hackathons" and a Show & Tell exhibition.
Students presented their works in various hackathons and different topics were discussed, including the impact of hackathons on technological innovation, hackathons and the participatory economy, the impact of hackathons on academic innovation and scientific research, improving social and environmental life through hackathons, the impact of hackathons on cybersecurity and privacy, and the ethical challenges of hackathons.
At the end of the debate, there was voting for the best participations.
The visitors were invited to the exhibition held on this occasion, where several teams participating in previous hackathons showed their works.
