The Department of Physics at the College of Science in Zulfi held a scientific symposium entitled “Some Measurements of Radioactivity in the Environment: One of the Direct Applications of Nuclear Spectroscopy”.

The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi, Professor of Nuclear and Radiological Physics in the department, who defined natural radioactivity and radioactivity from sources Radioactive as well as the types of radiation sources. Some research studies carried out by a team of department headed by Prof. Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi were presented.
