A Workshop presented by Director of Astronomical Observatory on Sun Movement, Zodiac and Change of Shadow

Within the framework of the cooperation between the College of Science in Zulfi and the Astronomical Observatory at MU, the Training Unit in cooperation with the Physics Club conducted a workshop entitled “Sun Movement, Zodiac and Change of Shadow”.
Presented by the head of the AO, Abdullah Al-Khudairy, the workshop explained how prayer times are determined based on the position of the sun.
A hands-on session was provided to determine precisely the time of prayers using the shadow length measurement model.
