 The Department of Computer Science and Information was founded after the establishment of the college in 1427-1428 AH. The department offers accredited academic programs, updates its study plans and programs regularly to meet the best international standards, keeps pace with the rapid development of computer science, and responds to the growing demand of the labor market. 

The department equips students with the latest scientific and applied computer science skills to keep pace with the labor market. The student earns a degree upon completing 161 hours of theoretical and applied courses, which allows them to pursue their graduate studies or join the labor market.

The department adheres to quality standards which is reflected in its outcomes. Finally, the department has a group of faculty members and admins who are behind the success of the department.
