Vice-Rector's Visit to the College of Applied Medical Science

The Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shaya'a visited the College of Applied Medical Sciences on Tuesday 19/3/1440 AH.

Prof. Al-Shaya'a was received by the Acting Dean of the College, Dr. Abdelaziz Al-Dakheel, Vice-deans and Heads of Departments before holding a meeting with them to discuss their responsibility for providing an appropriate research environment for faculty members in order to boost research on campus.

Prof. Mohammed said that the new trend of the university is to support and fund research programs and translation projects. He encouraged the university staff to utilize the funding programs, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and e-data base.

After the meeting, he examined the latest scientific innovations achieved in the college. Dr. Mohamed Abdelkader -Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Device Technology- presented one of the innovations pertaining to the Master program of Biomedical Engineering Sciences at the College.

At the end of the visit, the Dean thanked the Vice-Rector for his support of all research work on campus.
