Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences Meets Graduate Students

"I hope you become the finest representatives of this university" with these kind words that reflect sincerity and a sense of belonging, the Dean of the College, Dr. Fahd bin Khalid Al-Dhufairi, opened his meeting with students expected to graduate from the College this year, which took place on Monday, 11/07/1437 AH. He began his speech with some guidelines advising the students on the importance of the following training period in their academic and practical lives, and to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired during their studies altogether. He also explained that students earned their bachelor's degree only after they finish their internship, which is a one year training period in a public hospital, and then he answered their questions and inquiries. After that, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Majid bin Sulaiman Al Omari, reviewed the College’s Organizational Directory for the one year Internship (Imtiaz training) stressing the importance of adhering to its instructions, however, the hospital regulations they’re training at takes priority. Then, he urged them to stay in contact with the department and the College via the educational system at the University D2L. He also informed them that the college administration, led by the Dean, will visit their places of training on a regular basis to check on them, monitor their training progress and to stay in contact with them in order to find out the pros and cons of this critical period, which influences their academic and practical experience.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Aidroos, the College department heads and the coordinators of the internship training (Imtiaz) at the academic departments.
