On Tuesday, 19/04/1440 AH, The Scientific Research Unit at the Department of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research conducted a course in the College lecture hall entitled "Ethics in Medical Research and Publication"
Dr. Mani Sami, a faculty member at the Department of Medical Laboratory, explained the ethical aspects that the faculty member must abide by, the need to deal with sample donors clearly and accurately and not to use their samples without approval from the issuing body or informed consent from the donor.
He also stressed the importance of credibility in the research publication of results and giving credits to participators.
More than 20 faculty members and a few department heads attended the lecture.
