College Students Participate in the Stroke Day

Upon the directives of the dean Dr. Fahd bin Khaled AL Thufairi, the college of Applied Medical Sciences represented by the Physical Therapy Department participated in the Stroke Day at Prince Sultan Humanitarian City in Riyadh and which targets physical therapy students nationwide. During the event, speakers defined the concept, and described its symptoms, types, prevention tools from complications, the role of sport and healthy food, regular cure as well as the latest discoveries of research and clinical studies. Moreover, participants visited stroke patients and met with doctors and physical therapy specialists to answer the queries of students. By the end of the event, the visiting team extended their thanks and appreciation for the invitation and hospitality while Dr. Mazen Mushabeb AL Gahtani , the head of the department expressed his thanks to the college dean for his unwavering care and personal follow up so that students benefit from such events.
