With the directions of the University Rector for encouraging and honoring special achievers of university staff and faculty, for creating an atmosphere of competition amongst colleges and deanships, and in support for the efforts exerted for performance quality improvement in the colleges and supporting deanship, the deanship of Quality and Skills development at the university held a day for quality and distinction, and specified Tuesday 21st May 2013 is the day of Quality and Merit.
The college of Applied Medical Sciences is very keen on taking active part in every event held at university level; the college took part in the day of Quality and Merit by presenting some of its accomplishments during 1433-1434, some of which are:
- A presentation about some scientific researches for a few faculty members in the college
- A presentation about some innovations that the college presented in international exhibitions and conferences
- Presenting some booklets and leaflets about the college
- Presenting an introductory video about the college
