College of Applied Medical Sciences Holds Seminar: “Importance of Academic Counseling

The Academic Counseling Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences held a seminar on the importance of the academic counseling program at the college. The seminar was held under the supervision of the Supervisor of the College, Dr. Fahad Al-Thefifri. The Vice-dean, Dr. Muhammad Al-Aydarous, welcomed the audience, particularly the new faculty members, and then gave a brief introduction on the academic counseling activities held regularly by the College to reflect its interest in the faculty members. “The academic counseling program focuses on the development of academic and administrative knowledge of the faculty members as well as introducing them to the activities of the Deanship and its departments,” pointed out Dr. Aydarous. “I hope our new faculty members are comfortable and ready to add the values and progress to Majmaah University. We work here as a productive team, and I would like this to continue and even improve. Thank you very much, and welcome to the College,” he concluded. Dr. Rada, from the Department of Physical Therapy, then explained the significance of the academic counseling, the E-portal applications and the system of academic counseling at the College.
