The Applied Medical Sciences College celebration of the National Day was evident in the work and preparations of students and staff. The program started with Qura’anic verses following which the student Budour Almuteiri delivered a speech on the occasion. "Praise be to Allah and Peace be Upon His Messenger Mohammad. The memory of the National Day that floods back every year is a precious and dear event for every citizen to express his loyalty and true love to our dear country and the government that could achieve high standards of living for all citizens by providing all kinds of services. The National day reminds us of the great efforts the founder of this country King Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Saud, may he rest in peace, made to unify it. In fact, he brought hearts together after there was a lot of intense rivalry and established peace after the country was in a state of anarchy. King Abdulaziz spread knowledge to create a literate nation that could live in peace and stability. Thus, celebrating the National Day reflects the patriotism we should all have in minds and hearts. While celebrating this great day, it is worth taking a moment to ponder on the great accomplishments we make year after year in order to realize the greatness of this country and deep national dimensions with sincerity and honesty. Our nation always lives within us, not just for one day; but the National Day is a great chance to express our warm feelings and loyalty to this great nation. It is necessary to show our determination to stand by our leaders for the sake of protecting our great country. In the end, we pray Allah to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salaman Abdulaziz Al Saud, his Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince the Minister of Interior (may Allah preserve them) and protect our country and keep it secure and safe. Allah is the All Hearing and Responsive. Peace be upon you." The other sections of the celebration took place successively starting with the Air Falcons show. Then, students recited a patriotic poem and raised the flag. The final section was open contests following which the celebration was concluded and everyone was asked to visit the corners praying Allah to keep our country safe and secure.
