College of Applied Medical Sciences’ Students Meet With the College Supervisor

Under the auspices of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, the College’s Deanship for Student Activities, represented by Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah AL Abdoos, held a meeting on Wednesday 1. 1.1437 AH. for its students with His Excellency the College Supervisor, Dr. Fahd bin Khalid Al Zafiri., at the University theater. The meeting, whose toastmaster was the student Saeed bin Ahmed Al Zahrani, was started with some recitations from the Glorious Qur'an by the student Saleh Al Dosari, followed by a speech by His Excellency Dr. Al Zafiri , in which he welcomed all the students of the scientific departments (nursing, medical equipment, physical therapy, health rehabilitation, radiology and medical laboratories). Then, His Excellency talked about the students' rights and responsibilities, including the full attendance of lectures and discipline within the College halls and classrooms. Moreover, he encouraged the students to participate in student activities and cooperate with the Student Advisory Council, clarifying that students can choose the members of the Council in the election held in the College. He also advised the qualified students to run for the electoral council, and encouraged all students to participate in the election in order to successfully achieve the objectives of this Council. Additionally, His Excellency urged the students to follow a clear path for achieving their goals, stressing the College’s administration’s full and constant support for them. The academic counseling was also of the main topics mentioned in His Excellency’s speech, where he asked the students to contact academic councilors for the clarification of any academic rule. At the end of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Fahd bin Khalid Al Zafiri answered the students' questions, and concluded the meeting by honoring the outstanding students in all the scientific departments at the College, wishing them all full success.
