The Vice-Dean’s Office for Student Affairs, represented by the project unit at the College of Science in Zulf, conducted a viva voce for graduation projects of the academic year 1439/1440 for different departments (Computer Science and Information, Mathematics, Physics).

King Abdullah University of Science and Technology “KAUST” hosted the 1st Meeting of Mathematics Departments Heads in Saudi Universities in collaboration with the Saudi Association for Mathematical Sciences “SAMS”.

The Academic Advising Unit at the College of Science in Zulf, at female campus, conducted a program entitled “ Don’t give up if you fail”. A number of sessions were held for underachieving students who were unable to follow-up the plan.

The Academic Advising Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi conducted a program on the examination ethics. A campaign to raise students’ awareness of exam ethics and educational posts were designed as part of the program.

The Training Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi conducted a training course for faculty members at female campus entitled “ The Role of Knowledge in consolidating Innovation”.

The Training Unit at the College of Science conducted a training course for faculty members entitled “How to use Latex System”. Miss. Hajer Ibrahim, who presented the course, focused on :
1. What is Latex System
2. Basics of using Latex in documenting scientific research

Dr. Hani Al-Quhayz, Dean of College of Science in Zulfi, presented a scientific paper at the International Conference on Innovative Computing and Communication, organized by Technical University of Ostrava in Czech Republic, from the period 21-22 March 2019.

In the presence of the Head of Department of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Fayez Al-Fayez and faculty members, the 8th seminar for the academic year 1439/1440 AH was held at the Department.

Under the patronage of the Vice-Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and in collaboration with the Training Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi, Dr.

The Training Unit at the College of Science in Zulfi conducted a training course for faculty members entitled “ Information System”, presented by Miss. Shafiqah Al-Obaydi. The course focused on : definition, types and importance of information system.

The College of Science in Zulfi at female campus held a ceremony to honor the former vice-dean, Mr. Munibah Al-Turaiqi.

A group of students from the Department of Mathematics at the College of Science in Zulfi organized an awareness program on health. The program included three main corners: Carbohydrate, Proteins and Fat. The students explained the importance these elements in shaping human’s health.
