External scholarship admission Requirements (overseas students):
1. External grant applicants are subjected to the same conditions of Saudis at the university.
2. The applicant must not get another scholarship from any other university in Saudi Arabia.
3. The applicant must not have been dismissed from any other university in Saudi Arabia.
4. A female applicant must have a mahram who should be sponsored by the grant, a legal resident in SA or sponsored by a company.
5. Applicant must pass the medical test determined by the university
6. Applicant's age average should be between 17-25
7. All certificates and official documents must be attested by the SA Embassy and Cultural Attaché in the applicant’s country.
8. MU has the right to request a recommendation letter from a particular commission, institution or figure.

Study completion scholarship:
The scholarship student must leave SA after completing his/her studies in no more than 3 months from the end of the program. Extension of scholarship period is allowed only for half the period of study.
General rules:
1. Admission for external grants is only for male applicants
2. External grant student is subjected to the country’s regulations
3. The scholarship student is sponsored by MU
4. Applicants are eligible to apply for all majors. (Health majors are exception)
5. The scholarship student may not transfer from Majmaah University to any other university except in cases determined by the university
6. The scholarship student is not allowed to work for any company or individual during his study period.
7. Scholarship students are subjected to all rules and regulations of Majmaah University
Required documents need to be attached for application of external grant:
- A copy of high school certificate
- A copy of valid passport
- All documents must be scanned in a clear way
Required documents after final results:
Students who were successfully selected for the scholarship must bring the original documents (translated and attested by SA Embassy and Cultural Attaché in the applicant’s country). The documents are:
- Original copy of high school certificate
- Original copy of transcript
- A letter of moral conduct
- Original copy of valid passport (no less than 2 years from entry)
- Medical report
- Recent colorful photo
- Clearance letter from the applicant’s country
- Admission letter
