Student Services

 

There are a number of ways in which Student Services are focused on helping students at Majmaah University achieve what they deserve; the best university experience possible. The programs, services and college are designed to create a stimulating and supportive environment that enhances the personal development, learning, educational success and career preparation of all students. We work in partnership with colleges and faculty to enhance student development and success, and value engaging students actively in the process through involvement both inside and outside the classroom. Our goal is to be part of Majmaah University overall mission of preparing graduates for participation and leadership in an increasingly diverse and complex national society. Zulfi College of Science (ZCS) offers a wide range of services to its students, from student counseling and support to recreational activities. We constantly implement new initiatives aimed at improving the learning experience of our students like. Additionally, ZCS has permanent services for its students such as: Cultural, Social, Artistic, Scientific, Sports, Scouts and Theatrical Activities

Rules and Regulations

1- Enrollment and Registrations 

This list forms a committee to follow up the application of the Regulations called (the Standing Committee of anti-smoking)headedby Vice-President of the University and following entities   

 

2- Implementation Rules of Undergraduate Study and Examinations

The University Council determines the number of students to be admitted for the upcoming academic year on the basis of the recommendations presented by the College Councils and the respective departments at the college  

 

3- Discipline Regulations

Based on the Royal Decree number 8/M on 1416/6/4AH. High Board of Ministry of High Education has decided to be set with the following Articles for violators of the laws and regulations, which are in force in the University  

 

4-The By-Law of Study and Tests for the University Stage

Amended by the decree of the University Council No"14/62/1432" decided on the sixty second session of the Council of Higher Education held on 29/12/1431 corresponding 5/12/2010 ,honored by the sanction of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Prime minister , and President of Higher Education Council  

 

5- Anti Smoking

These regulations show the orders and instructions of the High Commissioner issued on anti-smoking, and to activate the terms of the World Health Organization on Tobacco Control.

7-  Student Handbook

This Handbook can be your guide to academic requirements, our residential system, and the many activities that take place outside the classroom. You will also find in these pages the broad outlines of the concentrations and secondary fields offered by the College. Importantly, the Handbook clarifies the values and standards we hold as a community and that we expect you to honor in your conduct as a student in the College   .

9- Undergraduate education

Undergraduate education is a level of education wherein a student completes their first degree. The first degree of an undergraduate degree is normally named a bachelor's degree. Therefore, for many subjects in many systems of education, undergraduate education is between secondary education and a bachelor's degree. This education usually takes place in a university. 

 

10Student Activities

The Annual Service Awards and End-of-the-Year Celebration was created to uncover and recognize the contributions and achievements of the unsung heroines and heroes throughout the Division of Student Affairs. Division employees are encouraged to nominate or act in support of the nomination of a deserving colleague either from within their own or across departmental and job responsibility lines  .

12- E-Learning

E-learning is the use of electronic media, educational technology and information and communication technologies in education. E-learning includes numerous types of media that deliver text, audio, images, animation, and streaming video, and includes technology applications and processes such as audio or video tape, satellite TV, CD-ROM, and computer-based learning, as well as local intranet/extranet and web-based learning

E-learning can occur in or out of the classroom. It can be self-paced, asynchronous learning or may be instructor-led, synchronous learning. E-learning is suited to distance learning and flexible learning, but it can also be used in conjunction with face-to-face teaching, in which case the term blended learning is commonly used
