His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud honored the winners of the Rector’s Award for Excellence in community service on the sidelines of the Graduation Ceremony held for the students at the University.
The award included honoring local community associations and administrative institutions that have done great work for the community. Faculty members and students working in community service were also honored.
The meeting was attended by leaders of the University, community institutions and the industrial institute in Zulfi, education departments and specialized centers contributing to community service.
The University Rector appreciated the role of the Deanship of Community Service for its efforts to promote community service on campus.
The Dean of Community Service, Dr. Omar bin Mousaed Al-Shariufi, stressed the need to continue offering community services for the benefit of University students and the local community.
