About CMEU

Continuing education is an integral part of any educational institution and plays a significant role in the development of education in all fields. Medicine and medical science are deemed the most important among all, and therefore there was a dire need to establish a continuing medical education unit. The Continuing Medical Education Unit aims to improve the knowledge, skills and competencies of healthcare professionals through conducting CME activities that are accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. These are activities which include symposium, workshops and on-the-job training which are facilitated by the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Training and Research in collaboration with different departments and international societies. Not only that, the unit also provides organizational support and facilitate the accreditation of scientific activities related to continuing medical education.
