The Scientific Research Committee at the Department of Computer Science and Information held a seminar entitled: "Heart Disease Prediction using Machine Learning Techniques".
The seminar which was presented by the students: Banan Al-Badr, Al-Jawhara Al-Muqhim, and Raghad Al-Ghazi, addressed heart disease, which is also known as cardiovascular disease, and the importance of having early diagnosis of the disease using accurate, reliable and acceptable methods. Data mining is one of the common methods used in the processing of big data in the field of Healthcare. Machine learning is one of the emerging sciences of artificial intelligence whose primary focus is on designing systems, allowing them to learn and make predictions based on experience.
