Under the patronage of the head of the Department of Computer Science and Information, Dr. Fayez al-Fayez, a ceremony was held by the department to farewell Dr. Ashraf Hayder.
In a talk delivered by the head of the department, Dr. Al-Fayez highlighted the personal traits of Dr. Hayder and his contributions during his tenure as a faculty member. Faculty members in the department also expressed their gratitude to their colleague, wishing him success in his future endeavor.
Dr. Hayder extended his thanks to everyone for this wonderful gesture, hoping that communication with the department members would remain in future.
Amid precautionary measures, Dr. Hayder received a gift and memorial shield from the department in recognition of his efforts.
