Vice Dean’s Office for Development & Quality conducts first session for this year

The first session for the Vice Dean’s Office for Development & Quality was chaired by Dr. Essam al-Malki in the presence of head of units.
A wide-range of topics were discussed in the session such as the proposal of work mechanism among units, the proposal of automating forms and reports related to quality works, the readiness of the Department of Mathematics as well as others for academic accreditation and reviewing the internal audit’s report given by the Deanship of Quality & Skills Development.
The idea of regularly accessing ‘quality platform’ and discussing developmental needs for the coming period was also addressed in the session. Besides, the need for reviewing and updating the training plan of the Vice-Dean’s Office was discussed.
Dr. al-Malki pointed out that, in view of the support received from MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, vice-rectors and our dean to fulfill educational quality assurance standards, there is a necessity to implement quality and excellence standards to achieve the college’s goals in line with its strategic and operational plans.
There are five units associated with the Vice Dean’s Office for Development & Quality, and they are:
Academic Accreditation Unit, Quality Assurance Unit, Planning and Development Unit, Training Unit, Evaluation and Assessment Unit.
