Within the framework of the university's interest in participating in events and various activities, the College of Science in Zulfi, represented by the Department of Physics, participated in the "Saudi Fourth International Conference" on modern research developments in physics and the international year of light. The conference was held at the University of Jazan from 17 to 19 February, 2015. The Department presented two research papers: the first one entitled "Characterization of photoluminescence of InGaAs/GaAs quantum dot embedded in the p-i-n structure", and the second one entitled ""Structural Investigations on some SrO-B2O3-Bi2O3 glasses". Zulfi College participation was appreciated by the attendees and the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Aboudi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the participating colleagues and urged them to make more similar efforts and upgrade the college’s reputation.
