In this meeting, Dr. Luai Bani Melhem gave a scientific presentation entitled "Obstacle Detection on Railway Tracks Using Vibration Sensors" in which he discussed how to employ Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) in discovering the various obstacles on the railway track and the most important of these obstacles is sand. In addition to the impact of these obstacles on the rail transport system and the losses that can cause. These obstacles cause trip delays and its impact on passengers, employees and companies working in this area.
