  • Functions of the Vice Dean for Quality and Development
  • 1_ Reinforcing the concept of quality and disseminating its consciousness at the college level or the Institute.

    2_ Supervising implementation of the quality program in the College or the Institute.

    3 _ Supervising performance evaluation at the College or the institute

    4_ Supervising implementation of the evaluation and academic accreditation program.

    5_ Preparing and executing developmental plans and strategies for the College or the Institute

    6_ Supervising the workflow in Information Technology Center.

    7_ Investigating difficulties or problems that come in the way of quality and development programs and proposing solutions to them.

    8_ Identifying training needs for faculty members in the college's academic departments and coordinating with Deanship of Skills Development in the implementation process.

    9_ Encouraging faculty members to participate in the training courses, programs and workshops offered by Deanship of Skills Development.

    10_ Supervising the preparation of a plan to improve the skills of teaching and administrative staff and students.

    11_ Supervising  the use of e-learning and technologies in teaching and learning within the college.

    12_ Supervising the preparation of the annual report about the College and submitting it to the competent authorities after approving it from the dean.

    13_ Providing periodic reports to the Dean about the working of the subordinate units according to the tasks assigned to them and the difficulties they face.

    14_ Upgradation of educational facilities of the college and Improving laboratories.

    15_ Besides putting the work system in order and developing coordination among subsidiary units, providing job description to the employees in Vice Deanship of Quality and Development.

    16_ Supervising the financial affairs for Vice Deanship and its programs in accordance with rules and regulations.

    17_ Implementing and following activities of Innovation and Excellence Awards in academic and research performance and career in the College.

    18_ Develop appropriate interim plans for periodical examination of the quality standards as approved, to ensure continuous improvement in the performance of departments and administrative units in the Faculty.

    19_ Setting up a mechanism for identifying the expectations, requirements and the level of College customers' satisfaction and communicating to all academic departments and relevant administrative units.

    20_ Evaluation and development of teaching performance of the faculty members and helping them achieve professional and scientific distinction.

    21_ Following the updating process of the College's website with regards to the subordinate administrative units.

    22_ Implementing the tasks assigned by the Dean of the College.
