Message from the Head of Department

The Budget Department was established on 01/04/1432 AH at the direction of MU Rector. It is organizationally linked to the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs. This department seeks to achieve the university's financial requirements in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education. It also oversees the university's budget including short-term and medium-term financial planning processes to achieve financial sustainability, raise and rationalize spending efficiency, and implement the budget policies and instructions approved by the Ministry of Finance and in line with the Fiscal Balance Program. It also sets controls and policies that contribute to achieving spending efficiency. Part of the department's responsibility is to prepare the annual budget in line with the objectives of the university’s strategic plan and actual needs.
