On Tuesday, 8/6/1440 AH, the Student Guidance and Counseling Center conducted a lecture for a group of students from the Community College titled: "The Path to Scientific Excellence", presented by Mr. Khalid Saif Al Nasser.
Based on the vision of the Dean’s Office to improve the administrative work, a number of administrative orders were issued by the Dean of Student Affairs as follow:
1. Mr. Isa Al-Isa was assigned as a general supervisor of the Student Nutrition and Service Department.
An educational lecture was delivered on Thursday by the Student Advising Center for a group of students for Preparatory Year entitled “ Ethics of University Students”.
A comprehensive planning was launched by the Student Advising Center for the second semester of the academic year (1439-1440).
Under the patronage of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih and in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, the Academic Supervisor of Reading Clubs, Dr. Aqil Al-Aqil, will present the goals of these clubs and main themes of the workshop.
The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs has launched MU Rector Quran and Sunnah Memorization Contest for students. The aim of this contest is to encourage students to be more attached to Quran via recitation, memorization or even interpretation ‘Tafsir’.
In response to MU Rector’s directives to provide all kind of services to students, the Scholarship Department for non-Saudis at the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs received 15 new students from different nationalities.

The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, represented by the University Volunteer Club, participated in the Mosque Planting Initiative, organized by the Sawaed Association.
The Dean of Student Affairs, Chairman of the Students' Fund Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, issued a order to assign Mr. Hamad Al-Sanani an Executive Director of the Student Fund for one year.
The Office of the Dean of Student Affairs organized a visit to the National Committee for Narcotics Control. The visit aimed to educate students about the danger of drug and ways of prevention, counseling and treatment.
In line with the national campaign against obesity with Kyle Society, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs organized a lecture on the influence of obesity on knee joint. The lecture was presented by Dr. Shadi bin Abdullah Al Shwaer.
The university tennis team won the Saudi Universities Sports Federation Tennis Championship fair and square after defeating King Abdulaziz University team in the final 2-1 . This achievement is an extension of the successive achievements of university at all levels.
With a delegation from Saudi universities and the participation of more than twenty-five countries from all over the world, Majmaah University participated in the International Forum of Ambassadors of Interfaith Dialogue held from 24/2/1440 to 1/3/1440 in Tunisia.
The team of the University Table Tennis came second and received silver medals at the 9th Saudi Table Tennis Federation, which was hosted by Tabuk University with the participation of 20 universities and colleges in Saudi Arabia, stated by the Head of the Department of Sports Activities and Scout
The Kail Association for Combating Obesity has awarded Office of the Dean for Student Affairs for its participation in many events by the National Campaign to Combat Obesity.
