MU Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin, received in his office a team of staff from the Deanship of Information Technology, which has recently completed the launch of both the Intranet Portal of university staff and My services application.
The Rector welcomed the members of the team and praised their efforts including the outstanding services provided to the university. He also stressed the importance of pursuing these efforts in an era where technology is one of the most important factors of success in the work place.
After that, the Dean thanked the Rector for his keenness, interest and constant follow-up, pointing out that all these successes would not have seen the day light without the support of the Rector and the Vice-Rector as well as the cooperation of the Deanship staff who contributed to the achievements of the Deanship.
Mr. Yousef Al-Rokban, Head of the Portal Unit, gave a brief presentation of the main statistics of the inranet portal and the staff feedback in this regard.
At the end of the visit, the staff of the Deanship of Information Technology presented a gift to the Dean of Information Technology in appreciation of his efforts during his tenure.
