The director of the Center for Publishing and Translation chairs the first meeting with Editors-in-Chief of MU’s Scientific Journals

The Director of the Center for Publishing and Translation, held a regular meeting with the editors-in-chief of Majmaah University’s scientific journals. These include the Journal of Humanities and Administrative Sciences, the Majmaah University Journal of Health Sciences, the Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and the Majmaah University Journal of Sharia and Legal Studies.

The meeting discussed academic quality and peer-review standards, with a special focus on preparing and developing the journals in line with international best practices. A comprehensive plan was approved to qualify the university’s journals for inclusion in leading databases and scientific indexes, most notably Scopus and Web of Science. This step aims to strengthen the university’s research presence and visibility in global academic platforms.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to supporting editorial boards, advancing the standards of scientific publishing, and fostering a culture of high-quality research—demonstrating a clear vision to enrich academic content and achieve recognition at both national and international levels.
