Message from the Supervisor

The Ranking Department aims to achieve the university's vision “to excel locally and globally and contribute efficiently to knowledge and development,” and the university's second strategic goal to improve its ranking locally and internationally.

University ranking is seen by decision makers at educational institutions and private sectors as the primary criterion to form educational, research or investment partnerships. It is also considered by students as a tool to choose the best university for their study and by universities themselves as a means improve their performance.

MU has established the Ranking Department to achieve the indicators of ranking such as improving the educational process outcomes and enhancing scientific research.

The Department's role is also to evaluate the university's performance and improve its ranking through constant development and workshops about the best practices.

The academic methodologies in ranking are also reviewed regularly by the department to set the necessary plans and goals that help in improving the university's ranking.
