Duties of the Unit:

Propose general policies for the selection and distribution of teaching assistants and lecturers across departments and colleges.

Review recommendations issued by college councils regarding the appointment of teaching assistants and lecturers, based on the following criteria:

The number of current teaching assistants and lecturers in the department.

The number of faculty members currently on scholarship, their specific specializations, and expected return dates.

The number and percentage of Saudi faculty members, their specializations, and their teaching loads.

Recommend the allocation of teaching assistant and lecturer positions based on the current and future needs of departments.

Study recommendations related to the transfer of teaching assistants and lecturers to administrative roles within the university or their reassignment to the Ministry of Human Resources.
