At the request of MU rector, Dr. Saleh Al-Mizil, the executive committee for digital transformation began to work at the Deanship of Information Technology.

The committee was formed to fulfill the requirements of the eleventh digital transformation measure of the Digital Government Authority. The committee is headed by Dr. Fayez Al-Harbi, the director of the Data Management Office.
