MU Students visit Riyadh Train

A group of MU students paid a visit to the train visitor center to learn about the various stages of work that have been carried out starting from the very early stage of examining the soil and throughout the remaining stages including planning and drilling, testing train tracks, building stations and receiving trolleys with incredible design and a capacity that is approximately three and a half million passengers daily.
The students were also introduced to the 2069 bus stations which shuttle between the station and 24 routes. The capacity of these stations are around half a million passengers a day.
Dr. Khalid Al-Ofaisan, Dean of Student Affairs, said that such programs aim to open the students’ eye to the massive projects carried by this nation. The train project is deemed one of several vital projects that serve residents of Riyadh.
