The College of Science and Humanities in Rumah received the Committee responsible for supervising community service units on Tuesday, 6/03/1440 AH, within the scope of the strategic plan of the Office of the Dean of Community Service and Continuing Education in cooperation with all colleges of the University.
The visit started with a meeting with the Dean of the College, Dr. Bandar bin Abdul Aziz Al Yahya and the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Salah Al-Farwan, Dr. Abdul-Karim Al-Harbi, Dr. Adel Al-Olayan and members of the Community Service Unit.
After the visiting team presented the objectives and tasks of the committee supervising community service units and the criteria of community care initiatives and mechanisms of support, the executive plan of the community service unit in the college and its role in activating the university award for community service was discussed.
The Dean also presented some of the difficulties faced by the College in implementing its community programs and expressed the readiness of the College to carry out its activities in the field once the proposed programs are completed and provide financial support.
