An Awareness lecture on harms of smoking

In cooperation with the Anti-Smoking Clinic at Remah General Hospital, the Vice Dean’s office for Students Affairs organized on Monday a lecture on harms of smoking and its effects on the individual and community.
At the beginning of the lecture, Dr. Nasser Al-Zaideen welcomed the health team and thanked them for their visit to the College. The health team then explained the harm of smoking on individuals and communities. Statistics of smoking rates for different age groups were highlighted. The efforts of Ministry of Health to raise awareness and help smokers to quit were also shown.
